French India 1899-1900 complete set of thirteen “Navigation and Commerce” Bristol proofs, printed on thick card with simulated perforations and comprising all denominations from 1c to 1fr. An exceptionally scarce specialist set, listed in the Yvert & Tellier catalogue as “Tirage sur bristol, avec dentelure figurée, les 13 valeurs” and classified BP1–BP13 in Chaitanya Dev, Stamps of French India, p. 87. Very fine and rarely offered complete.
