India Telegraphs: India, 1860–72, group of five used telegraphic documents, comprising one early blue-paper form headed “Message for Despatch by Electric Telegraph” two further blue-paper forms, and two later Government Telegraph Department forms. Principally commercial correspondence, including market prices and trading instructions, with one document bearing extensive text in an Indian script. An appealing group illustrating nineteenth-century Indian telegraphic communications. (5)
