Ceylon 1862 envelope “via Madras” – obliterated and replaced with “Galle” – and “Marseilles” to Worcester, franked – contrary to regulations – with vertical pair and single 1856-64 India 4a black, on yellowish to white paper, no wmk (SG 45), pen-cancelled “Stamped” and initials, the adhesive being invalid for postage duly backstamped “GALLE POST NOT PAID / JY 13 186(2) (last character of year tablet missing)” and Worcester 16.8.62 datestamps.
