French India 10c Brahma bisected diagonally on 10c French postcard, which at 5c is the correct local postage rate, tied by INDE/MAHE/30 SEPT. 16. Believed to be philatelic, it has a clear Mahe cds, one of two known, with the other cover illustrated in Ron Wood’s book series on French India – “Section 04 Pictorial Stamp Issues 1914 to 1923”.
