India 1793 (Oct 20) incoming entire posted from Guernsey to Madras forwarded in London by Messrs Perchard & Brock, arrived Madras 1794 (Sep 14) with 329 transit days, Post Not Paid Giles 3 of Madras in black along with 14 and Sep date slugs added separately. The entire was redirected to Trichinopoly and then to Madura as a result of which postage due was changed from 4 Fanams to 5 Fanams as indicated in manuscript “from Europe 5f“. Rare entire with the first batch of correspondances received by Havilland.
