India 1883-99 QV 1a brown-purple ovpt “On H.M.S.” upper right corner strip of 6 with narrow interpanneau margin at top, the centre pair containing variety: overprint omitted in horizontal pair with normal, the 4th with overprint albino, fresh unmounted mint; the right-hand stamp creased, otherwise very fine and the most important of all multiples containing this very rare and stunning variety.
