India 1932 (Nov 17) French Canadian World Flight, Calcutta to Akyab, with Akyab (Nov 17), with Calcutta delivery (Nov 21). The cover has a red label (in French) “Par un Français du Canada” describing pilot, plane, etc, and there is a bilingual purple handstamp reading “Across the Bay to Akyab / Asmani Ghari (Flying Car)” plus a separate airplane handstamp in purple, with Jacques Hebert pilot signature and Stephen Smith’s signature on reverse. Only 57 flown.
