India Airmail – 1932 (Feb 20) Viceroy’s Cup Aeroplane Race from Delhi to Agra to Jhansi to Lucknow, back to Delhi, bearing two blue and red labels prepared for the flight, one reading “TIME IS MONEY / USE THE AIR MAIL / TO ENSURE IT”, tied by a two-line handstamp “FLOWN / FEB.20.1932”, addressed to Stephen Smith in Calcutta and franked with blk/4 + single KGV 3p definitive. Signed by two pilots + signed on reverse by Stephen Smith and Calcutta delivery cds. Cover showing water stains. Only 90 flown. From the L. V. Pont Collection of India Airmails.
