India Incoming mail – Great Britain 1854 fl front to India bearing 6d embossed, cut-to-shape + 1d red + 4d on blue glazed, all tied by barred cancel, forwarding agents strike in red alongside, addressed to Madras and then forwarded to Trichinopoly using India 1854 1a red die I imperf, tied by “C/1” of Madras. The post office clerk in Madras re-cancelled the GB stamp as well which might have appeared to him as an Indian franking.
